International Department

International Department of Lipetsk State Pedagogical University was founded in 2015 in lieu of the International Faculty. The department aims at facilitating the integration of LSPU into the world’s education system and creating multilingual and multicultural learning environment. We also develop partnership with foreign countries, broadening the geography of international collaboration by the year.

The functions of International Department include organizing foreign exchange program courses for students and teachers, negotiating with foreign partners, creating a learning environment and facilitating the education of foreign LSPU students. We exercise research and development of foreign partnership of LSPU with foreign educational institutions.

The actions at the arrival of foreign students at LSPU:

Upon the arrival at the place of residence in the Russian Federation a foreign student must register in Lipetsk Regional Migration Office within 7 weekdays.

Rules for foreign citizens arriving to study atuniversity

A foreign citizen is obliged to inform the regional migration office about the arrival at the place of residence in Russia. All the legislative proceedings concerning this process are performed by International Department of LSPU. Foreign students don’t have to address any officials on their own.

Upon the arrival at LSPU a foreign student brings his passport and his migration card to the International Department. The migration card is filled in on entering the borders of the Russian Federation. The withdrawal of the student’s passport and migration card by the staff of International Department is prohibited.

The Deputy Director of the department fills out the arrival note in accordance with the documents produced by the foreign student and returns the detachable section of the arrival note to the student. The detachable section of the arrival note proves the registration at the regional migration office and is kept by the foreign student.

It is also advisable to keep a copy of the passport, migration card and detachable section of the arrival note. In case of damage or loss the copies can help prove the existence of all necessary documents and absence of violation of migration regulations.

After registration at the regional migration office foreign students can be provided with boarding in the dormitories of LSPU. The superintendant of the dormitory will inform foreign students on the check-in procedure.
